ISSAC consists of 4 major Touch-points. Patients can use the Mobile Application and the Smart-Pill-Box, Doctors can use the Web Application and Pharmacists can have the Disposal Kisosks in their stores.
The Mobile Application has main features of Conduction a Preliminary Symptom Assessment, Scanning the Medications, Knowledge Section about Antibiotics & AMR, Treatments and Doctor's Appointments. The Smart-Pill-Box can be used to monitor and control the Antibiotic consumption. On the Doctors front, the web application has patients's data captured through the ISSAC application synced to the latest date. And, Pharmacists have the disposal kiosks to collect leftover Antibiotics.
Expat Patients get to know about ISSAC App through the community. Once they download the App, they can do a symptom assessment and get the relevant recommendations from ISSAC about antibiotic consumption. In case of urgency ISSAC allows patients to book doctor's appointments on basis of their symptoms. During the Waiting period when patients has maximum pain and anxiety, ISSAC suggests over the counter medicines and relevant knowledge. Patients can also scan their leftover medications to know more about them and how they can dispose it in nearby Kiosks located in the pharmacies. All the patient data is shared with doctors to channelise and expedite the process of clinical diagnosis during 1-1 interaction with patients.
